Purpose of this blog

This blog provides a view into the very special life and valiant passing of Larry C. Jamison in 2018. (Items are in no particular order, but just as I think of things and am able to write about them).

In HIS Hands

I don't remember what prompted my husband to put my hand in his after church a couple of years ago, but I'm so touched that he did! Larry was a very sentimental man and always showed his deep love in many ways. To me, this photo represents the love and constant care that he continues to show me, even now as a Spirit gone from his earthly body.

I borrowed the above poem from AllGreatQuotes.com. I think it's appropriate to accompany this photo. It's difficult to read in this collage, so here are the words:
As I sit in Heaven
and watch you everyday
I try and let you know with signs,
I never went away.

I hear you when you’re laughing
and I watch you as you sleep.
I even place my arms around you
to calm you as you weep.

I see you wish the days away,
begging to have me home.
So I try and send you signs
so you know you’re not alone.

Don’t feel guilty that you have life,
life that was denied to me.
Heaven is truly beautiful.
Just you wait and see!

So live your life, laugh again,
enjoy yourself, be free.
Then I’ll know with
each breath you take,
You’ll be taking one for me.

  2. I love this! Says much more eloquently what my husband told me just before he passed on. Although I want to be reunited with him I also know that while I'm still here he wants me looking after our family and passing memories on to the younger ones so they don't forget how much he loved them.
