Walking with a Cane, or Several
In Nov. 2007 Larry had left hip replacement surgery. That turned out to be the first of four major surgeries in the following 11 years. With that hip replacement, he always maintained that the doctor caused his left leg to be 1/2" shorter than his right. He started walking with a cane, which he continued to do until his death. The green cane in the middle of the above collection was his favorite and the one he was using most recently.
