Larry Jamison enjoyed many adventures in his life. After he graduated from Billy Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs, CO in 1966, he took flying lessons. His "pilot satchel" has been stored in our home all these years. Tonight I took inventory of its contents, which revealed mostly maps and instruction books.
This is the plane that he flew for his solo flight.
Among Larry's notes from his instruction, I found these two profound gems: "Don't let the plane fly you, you fly it!" and "Don't try to be a test pilot in a light plane!!" Pretty good advice, I think!
